Mixed signals lead to stosk market instability
Market Outlook: Stock markets continue to be affected by geopolitical turmoil
Stock markets fell last week as a result of continued geopolitical turmoil and high interest rates/bond yields. America’s broad S&P 500 index was down by -2.39% and the Stoxx Europe Stoxx 600 closed 3.44% lower between October 13 and October 20. Sweden’s OMXS30 large cap index ended the week even more negatively, losing 5.12%. Concerns about an expanded conflict in the Middle East are expected to continue dominating the markets this week.
