Continued stock market consolidation

The world’s stock markets ended last week on a mainly positive note, following the publication of various inflation figures and a key rate announcement by the European Central Bank (ECB). Sweden’s OMXS30 large cap index climbed by 0.87% between September 8 and 15, while the Stoxx Europe 600 achieved a gain of 1.6%. America’s broad S&P 500 index lost 1.2% on Friday, eroding gains during the preceding days and bringing the week’s total outcome to a loss of 0.16%. During the rest of this week, there will be a strong market focus on central banks around the world.
